Dr Signe Daugbjerg, is the Head of the AI Unit and a senior researcher at the Advanced School of Health Economics and Management (ALTEMS) Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, Italy. She holds a PhD degree in Health and Medical Sciences from the University of Copenhagen with a background in clinical epidemiology and social inequality in health. She is a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) & Artificial Intelligence expert and has prior been working for the Italian National Center for Health Technology Assessment at the National Health institute in Rome. Signe is an expert evaluator and reviewer for the European Commissions since 2015 and has been the work-package leader of the evaluation of several European projects. Currently she is leading the assessment of an AI-supported screening tool for dementia risk in people affected by mild cognitive impairment which is being developed as a part of the European project ”AI-Mind”.
