Spiros Mouzakitis

Dr. Spiros Mouzakitis is a senior research analyst for the Decision Support Systems laboratory at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) at NTUA. His current research is focused on decision analysis in the field of decision support systems based on machine learning / deep learning, big and linked data analytics, as well as optimization systems and algorithms, decision support systems and semantic and enterprise interoperability.
Spiros Mouzakitis has more than 10 years of industry experience in software engineering for banking, e-commerce systems and energy suppliers. Spiros Mouzakitis has worked as a project manager for 16 years in more than 20 projects related to the big data, open data, market / impact analysis in the context of ICT technologies, web development and enterprise interoperability. Indicative projects include H2020, FP7, FP6 and FP5 research projects co-funded by the European Union, eParticipation projects and evaluation reports of National projects. He is currently the project manager of the I-NERGY project. He has published in numerous journals including Computer Standards & Interfaces, Information Systems Management, Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research, Electronic Journal for eCommerce Tools and Applications, and Lecture Notes in Computer Science, and has presented his research at international conferences.
